The Hotel Buena Vista is the realization in Matsumoto of the ideal international city hotel, providing a totally relaxing atmosphere, amusements where people can forget about things for a while, and amenities which have been designed with the point of view of its guests in mind.
Since it was first opened in 1991, this hotel has served as the venue of international exchange events, including the Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto, and has been used by a large number of people as a place for holding elegant social gatherings. The largest banquet hall in all of Nagano Prefecture, "Houou" is equipped with such facilities as a 200-inch video projector and a wireless simultaneous interpreting device for six different languages. This hall can be put to use for a variety of purposes as the venue for such large events as conventions and banquets, or can be divided into two or three smaller rooms for smaller events.
