The Resort's architecture respectfully reflects the style of the "Lanna" Kingdom, an agricultural empire of foothill villages unified in the 13th-century under King Mengrai.

Paying tribute to a heritage over 700 years old, the Resort's design echoes stories of wars fought and won and displays a cultural blend of India, China and other powerful nations prevalent at the time.
