Phuket, Thailand’s biggest island, may be the most picturesque location in all of Thailand. The fine white sand beaches dotted with post-card-esque palm trees create the perfect tropical paradise; the island’s splendorous diversity allows you to choose between spending your time relaxing at the beach, or participating in a long list of outdoor adventure activities.
And now, as the world begins to slowly re-open, Phuket is preparing to greet international travelers once again. As part of a special travel bubble beginning July 1st, vaccinated travelers are welcome to visit Phuket without needing to quarantine, and they are free to stay for as long as they’d like.
Not only that, but after 14 days on the island, visitors are welcome to explore the remainder of Thailand, as well. If all goes as planned, Thailand is hoping to model the Phuket travel bubble in other tourist hotspots later in the year to allow visitors to explore The Land of Smiles once again.
Already beloved for its spectacular island atmosphere, this news is sure to soon earn an extra special place in the hearts of eager travelers the world over.
