In Japanese, drum means ‘Taiko’, and it is an ancient art form like no other – performers use extremely large drums, ranging in size from a wine barrel to a small car, and through the four principles of Taiko (attitude, form, energy and musical technique) they aim to intertwine themselves with the music.
